Why does 3D beat photography in the watch category?
A watch photograph freezes the product in one lighting setup at one angle. Yet a watch reveals its perceived value in motion: the dial catches light by angle, a steel case reflects differently along its brush direction, sapphire crystal goes fully transparent at certain angles. A 3D viewer hands that behaviour to the shopper, who turns the product to any angle and watches how light responds.
The second benefit is scale perception. Case diameter is quoted in millimetres, but most buyers cannot picture the difference between 40 mm and 44 mm. A 3D viewer and AR turn that difference from an abstract number into something visible.

The watch category is variant dense: the same case sells with a steel bracelet, a leather strap and a rubber strap, and the same strap sells against several dial colours. GlareAR produces the case geometry once, models straps as separate objects, and derives dial colours at the material layer, so production cost does not grow linearly with variant count.
